I had come back to delhi after 6 long months.. and enjoyed being here again. I arrived here at 7.30 am. The people at the station looked the same, having tea by dipping biscuits in them, coolies carrying luggage, some reading newspapers while some sitting idle. Everything was the same except one and the most amazing thing. The weather!
Yes! I am talking about delhi which is hot and humid most of the year, and had broke the record for being the hottest zone in the country. But it has changed, cool breeze was going on, birds were chirruping, trees were enjoying the breeze as if showing their happiness. Couldn't believe it no? My eyes too until a drop fell on my palm and i welcomed it, the rain..
By the time i had manage an autorickshaw, I was fully drenched with the rain water but i was happy, happy since it was the first rain i was enjoying and uh-ya keeping in view the ecomonic measures too, i hadn't took bath in two days, today being the third one! Its just coz i work hard daily for my projects so might have skipped it, really i do work, hard! :-}
It was 5 in the evening when i got a call, call from a friend to visit the gurgao malls as 50% off was there! A sale of lifetime, i had to go and i made my mind! I reached the Qutab metro station when it started raining, this time it was raining heavily but thankfully i had a shelter. While i was waiting for the arrival, i had a quick glance at the station. The structure was majestic with appropriate pillars in between. It was huge and the grass at the entrance did not seem less than a public park! In just two words, it was too good!
I heard some group of people clapping while i was passing my time with 98.3 FM, the metro had arrived! Then i again looked back at those people, it was a group of some school students not more than 9 years of age. I smiled. Just as the train got away from Qutab, we heard sounds of the rain droplets growing more vivid. Then looked out of the window, it was refreshing, spirited, bright & intense.. the nature! The sky was immensely blue. White silvery clouds were gliding almost imperceptibly against it. And as i was reaching towards my destination, Gurgao, the sight of tall buildings surrounded by super tall buildings could be seen. And the rain, which started off with tiny white droplets had grown into mast droplets was making the scene even more beautified and look dignified! I had almost forgot about the sale for which i was going to gurgoa. I then decided to pay gratitude to nature inspite of spending time on materialism. Me and my friend then sat on a table in front of a chai ki dukan and enjoyed the chuski of tea along with the rain, of course!!
It was lovable, isn't it?
